Dr. Mark Czerniak is a physician with trucking industry experience who has performed hundreds of DOT physical exams for drivers throughout the United States. He helps to ensure that drivers of commercial motor vehicles (CDL) in our area are physically and mentally fit. Your DOT physical exam will include a:
- Review of your medical history
- Urinalysis
- Measurement of your blood pressure and heart rate
- And a review of your lung, vision and hearing function
The U.S Department of Transportation requires that anyone applying for, or with a, Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), must pass this exam a minimum of every two years. There are some cases where the Mass DOT physical is required more often for certain medical conditions.

- Appointments are necessary, however we can normally schedule you within 24 hrs to make it easy for you.
- Assuming you pass the exam, you will leave with your Medical Examination Report and your laminated DOT medical card
